Stephanie R. Yafeh
Stephanie R. Yafeh is a Law Clerk at Bouklas & Associates PLLC, pending admission to the New York State Bar. She focuses on the probate and administration of estates as well as estate and tax planning matters.
Stephanie joined the Firm as an Intern in 2017 and began full-time upon graduating law school in 2019. During law school, Stephanie volunteered with The Children’s Law Center, a not-for-profit law firm dedicated to representing children in custody, visitation, domestic violence, and child protective cases. She appeared on the record in several custody and visitation cases under a Student Practice Order. Stephanie also externed at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm where she assisted the attorneys with personal injury, medical malpractice, and negligence cases as they moved towards trial.
During her last semester of law school, Stephanie participated in the Helping Elders Through Litigation and Policy (HELP) Clinic, where she was placed at the Vera Institute of Justice, The Guardianship Project, which serves as court-appointed agency guardians to elderly and disabled individuals. While there, she assisted the staff attorneys in preparing for guardianship proceedings and in motion practice.
Stephanie was a writer for Brooklyn Law School’s Journal of Law and Policy and was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal during her final year.
She received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Psychology and Spanish, from New York University in 2016.
